In July 2022, three young fossil hunters made the discovery of a lifetime. In the U.S. state of North Dakota, 8-year-old Liam Fisher, his 11-year-old brother Jessin, and their 10-year-old cousin Kaiden Madsen stumbled upon a large fossilized bone.
The giant-screen film follows the children and paleontologists as they excavate the fossil, encase it in plaster, and transport it to a museum for preservation. It turns out to be a rare, juvenile T-Rex—one of only four ever found worldwide.
Meet the giants of the past
In T.REX, you’ll encounter this prehistoric teenager and its contemporaries up close, including its archrival Triceratops, Quetzalcoatlus—one of the largest creatures ever to fly—and the 7-meter-long Sinraptor, a species that likely fed on early tyrannosaurs.
