Accessibility

For all visitors with disabilities, one accompanying person may enter free of charge. Please indicate in advance when booking via info@museon-omniversum.nl that a companion will come along for free.

Please use the main entrances on Stadhouderslaan (museum) and President Kennedylaan (Dome). If you want to move from one building to the other with a wheelchair, please use the route along the streets, as there are stairs on the path through the garden of Museon-Omniversum/Kunstmuseum.

At Museon-Omniversum there are two wheelchairs available (free of charge). Please reserve a wheelchair or wheelchair space in the cinema in advance via info@museon-omniversum.nl and indicate whether you are coming with your own wheelchair and a free companion. Please note that the seats in our filmtheatre are suitable for wheelchairs with a maximum width of 850 mm.
In the car park at the entrance of Omniversum, there are two parking spaces for people with disabilities. They cannot be reserved.




Certified service dogs are welcome at Museon-Omniversum. Other animals are not allowed.

Museon-Omniversum is easily accessible for wheelchairs. For the museum, please use the main entrance on Stadhouderslaan, as the entrance through the garden of the Art Museum is not suitable for wheelchairs. Two wheelchairs are available (free of charge). You can reserve these by e-mail via info@museon-omniversum.nl. Please note that the seats in the Dome are suitable for wheelchairs with a maximum width of 850 mm.

Certified assistance dogs are welcome at Museon-Omniversum. Other animals are not allowed.

The public car park between the museum and the Dome has two parking spaces for disabled persons. These cannot be reserved.

Route by public transport

Museon-Omniversum can be reached by

  • tram 17 (direction Statenkwartier) from The Hague Central Station and The Hague HS
  • bus 24 (direction Kijkduin) from The Hague Central Station

Get off at stop "Kunstmuseum" and walk 2 minutes to the main entrance of Museon-Omniversum.

Route by car

If you come by car, you can park in the public parking place next to the Dome or on the street nearby. This is free until 13:00 and after that € 2.50 per hour. Buy your parking ticket in advance at the parking columns.

It is cheaper to park in one of this adjacent car parks if you stay with us for more than 3 hours in the afternoon:

  • The Hague Marriott Hotel car park (located next to One Planet Dome) € 7 per day
  • World Forum Parking garage "entrance A" (at walking distance from Museon-Omniversum) € 7.50 per day.

Would you like to take advantage of these special parking rates? Then buy an exit ticket at the Museon-Omniversum box office. This is subject to availability. Please note: At World Forum you still have to use the pay station of the car park with this ticket.

Environmental zone

The Hague has an environmental zone for older cars and vans that drive on diesel (emission class 3 and lower). Museon-Omniversum is outside this zone, but your access route might be affected. More information and a map of the environmental zone can be found here.

Are you coming by bicycle?

You can park your bike at the entrance to the One Planet Dome on President Kennedylaan or in front of the museum entrance on Stadhouderslaan.

Museum café and Dome café

A trip to Museon-Omniversum naturally calls for tasty, responsible coffee, lemonade, lunch and many other delicacies!

Stop by our cafe's in the museum and in the Dome, managed bij Juni Lekkerijnen. In the Museum Café, you can enjoy hot and cold drinks, some tasty treats and various lunch dishes. In the Dome Café you can buy various drinks and small sweet and salty snacks (to enjoy during the film). You can also scoop nuts and sweets here. Both cafés are pin only, no cash money is accepted.

June Lekkerijnen is a sustainable and social caterer. Their mission is to make fresh, healthy, tasty and responsible food accessible to everyone. All our products are seasonal and production methods and origins are taken into account. Be surprised by our vegetarian and vegan options in both cafes.

One Planet Shops

Visit our shops after your museum or Dome visit or just drop by without entering the museum or cinema. You will find beautiful books, natural products, sustainable toys and cuddly toys, cards and jewellery in our shops. We think about what we sell here. A fun and responsible gift makes everyone happy!


We are open 7 days a week, from 9.30 am to 5 pm. You can only pay by pin with us. Exchanges can be made within 2 weeks on presentation of the receipt. We do not give money back, but the purchase value can be spent in the shop.


Please note: On 8 January 2024, the Museon shop will be closed, but the shop in the Dome is open.
