Accessibility

At Museon-Omniversum, everyone is welcome. Whether you’re here to learn, explore, or simply have a great day, we do our best to make every visitor feel at home.

Our museum and film dome are designed to be as accessible as possible for visitors with auditory, visual, physical, or mental disabilities. However, both are vibrant environments with lots of visuals, sound, and interactivity, which can be intense for some visitors. Feel free to contact us for advice—together, we’ll make your visit unforgettable!

Companions chevron down

Visitors with disabilities can bring one companion for free. Please notify us in advance via info@museon-omniversum.nl to include the companion in your reservation.

Wheelchairs chevron down

The main entrances of both the museum (Stadhouderslaan) and the Dome are wheelchair accessible. The connecting path between the buildings is not wheelchair-friendly, so you’ll need to go around the building.
Inside the museum, a lift provides access to most exhibits. Two wheelchairs are available for free loan.

Wheelchair spaces in the Dome’s theater must be reserved in advance via info@museon-omniversum.nl. Please specify if you’re bringing your own wheelchair or need a companion ticket.

Note: the theater can accommodate three standard-size wheelchairs or two large wheelchairs.

Accessible restrooms are available on the ground floor of the museum and in the Dome.

Parking chevron down

Two parking spaces for visitors with disabilities are located near the Dome entrance. These spaces cannot be reserved.
