To ensure everyone has a pleasant and safe visit, we have established a set of rules and guidelines.

On this page, you will find our general terms and conditions, which apply to your visit, the use of our services, and ticket purchases. By using our website or visiting Museon-Omniversum, you agree to these terms. Please take a moment to review them so we can create a great experience together.

General visitor rules

  • Museon-Omniversum is a child-friendly museum, but running, roughhousing, shouting, or touching museum objects is not allowed.
  • Food and drinks are only permitted in the cafés and foyers.
  • For exhibition visits, please leave large bags, wet coats, and umbrellas in the museum cloakroom. Lockers are also available.
  • Pets are not allowed in Museon-Omniversum. Assistance dogs are welcome, provided you notify us in advance.
  • Photography and filming are allowed but only without flash to protect our collection.
  • Museon-Omniversum uses cameras for security purposes. Footage will not be shared unless requested by the police or judicial authorities. Recordings are kept for a maximum of seven days.

Terms and conditions

  • Entry to Museon-Omniversum is only granted upon presentation of a valid ticket. Please have your ticket and any discount proof ready at the entrance.
  • A day ticket is valid for a standard visit to the exhibitions and one film screening. Evening tickets are only valid for the large-screen theater. Additional fees for events or activities will be clearly stated.
  • Online tickets for Museon-Omniversum are issued by our partner Active Tickets. After payment, Active Tickets is responsible for issuing an undamaged and scannable ticket, which will be sent via email. Delivery time for iDEAL or credit card payments is usually immediate but no later than 30 minutes after payment. Please also check your spam folder.
  • The buyer is responsible for providing accurate information necessary for email delivery of tickets and online payment processing. Incorrect or incomplete details may result in non-delivery of tickets.
  • Each ticket features a unique QR code. Tickets will be scanned at the entrance to Museon-Omniversum. Show your digital ticket on your mobile device. If printed, ensure the ticket remains legible and undamaged, as damaged tickets may be refused at the entrance.
  • All tickets are valid for one-time use only. Copying tickets is useless. Resale and/or counterfeit tickets are prohibited. Museon-Omniversum will report any misuse to the police.
  • Tickets include an expiration date. After this date, the ticket becomes invalid. Tickets cannot be exchanged for cash or new tickets, nor can their validity be extended. Tickets may be rebooked up to 24 hours before the visit date in consultation with Museon-Omniversum.
  • Discounted tickets cannot be combined with other promotions, vouchers, packages, or (online) offers.
  • Museon-Omniversum cannot be held liable for technical issues that prevent, delay, or incorrectly process orders or payments.
  • The consumer right of withdrawal (online purchase cancellation) does not apply due to the fixed date attached to tickets.
  • All visitors are subject to the visitor regulations. Visitors must adhere to the rules and follow staff instructions.
  • Museon-Omniversum is not liable for material, physical, or other damages resulting from a visit to Museon-Omniversum.
  • Partial cancellations of an order are not possible. Exceptions (e.g., in case of bereavement) may be discussed with Museon-Omniversum staff.
  • In cases not covered by these terms, Museon-Omniversum reserves the right to decide.
